Fun things to do in Baltimore for adults.

Grown folks need a night out that isn't another bar. Words, Wings & Wine is four hours of poetry, comedy, live painting and music in a 600-seat room downtown, and somebody walks out with a painting.

What your night looks like

  1. Walk in through the vendor floor. Local vendors, one per category, so nothing's a repeat.
  2. Grab wings and a drink, then find your reserved seat.
  3. The host takes it from there. Poets, featured comedians, live music and a DJ who keeps the room moving.
  4. Watch the painting happen. Renee Cris paints beside the stage all night.
  5. Stay for the open mic and the artist raffle. Somebody takes the canvas home.
