The Baltimore open mic that actually pays.

Most open mics in Baltimore pay you in exposure. Ours pays. Every Words, Wings & Wine show has a paid open mic, in front of a 400-plus crowd that came to listen.

  3. You're on the list. First come, first served, so the early ones go first.

No audition. No submission fee. No needing to know somebody.

This is not a back-room mic

Six people and a bartender is a rehearsal. WWW is a reserved-seat room downtown at M&T Bank Exchange with a host, a DJ, a painter working beside the stage and 400-plus people in their seats.

The crowd has been coming back for seven years, and 82% of them return show after show. They know how to show love to somebody they've never heard before.

Who takes the mic

Poets, comedians, singers and lyricists. If you've been working the weeknight mics around town and you're ready for a bigger room, this is the step up.

From the open mic to the feature slot

Features at WWW can make $1,000 or more a night, and a lot of the artists we book, we saw first at the open mic.

Want the feature slot? Submit your work for 2027 or email tyce@wordswingsandwine.com.
